Dr. Asha P Tom is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Mangalam College of Engineering, Ettumanoor, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, India. She had professional academic experience of more than twelve years including seven years of research expertise in various fields of environmental Engineering like wastewater treatment, municipal solid waste management and water supply engineering. Dr. Asha P Tom has her Ph.D from Cochin University of Science & Technology and has done post-graduate study at the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Currently, her research interest lies in the area of wastewater treatment and municipal solid waste management. She has carried out collaborated projects and research in the area of municipal solid waste treatment, along with researchers in several internationally reputed institutions like NIIST, Center for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) laboratory, Trivandrum.
